Once all the details are confirmed, I’ll begin your portrait, and you’ll be part of the journey every step of the way. I’ll share regular updates and progress photos, and your feedback will help shape the final piece! Before delivery, you’ll get a full preview to make sure it’s exactly how you envisioned it.

Your finished portrait will be securely packaged and shipped with care. I’ll share all shipping options and timelines with you in advance, so you know exactly what to expect. Most portraits take around 2–3 weeks to complete, depending on size - but if you need yours sooner, just let me know and we’ll explore the best options together!

How do I place a portrait commission?

To commission a portrait, simply fill in our contact form with your request!
How much does a custom portrait cost?

Prices vary depending on the size of the portrait and the level of detail involved. A base price guide is available on our Information Page, but for the most accurate quote, especially for custom backgrounds or extra subjects, feel free to message me with your idea!
Can I choose the size and number of subjects?

Absolutely! I offer A5, A4, and A3 portraits, with options for one or multiple subjects. If you'd like a larger size just get in touch and I’ll provide a tailored quote.
Do prices include backgrounds?

All listed prices on our information page are for portraits with a plain background. If you’d like a detailed or custom background added, please message me so I can provide a personalised quote.
What payment options are available?

Once your commission details are confirmed, I’ll send over the payment information. You can choose to pay in full upfront or split it into two instalments, just let me know what works best for you! We offer payment through a variety of methods, including Paypal or a bank transfer
How long will my commission take?

Turnaround is typically 2 - 3 weeks, depending on size and availability. Let me know if you have a deadline.
Will I get updates during the process?

Yes! I’ll keep you updated throughout with progress photos and check-ins. Your input matters at each stage, so we’ll collaborate to make sure the final piece reflects your vision.
Can I make changes once the drawing has started?

Small adjustments can be made during the sketching and shading stages. I’ll send you previews along the way so you can request tweaks before the final details are added.
How will my portrait be delivered?

Your artwork will be carefully packaged to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. I’ll share shipping options and estimated delivery times in advance. UK and international shipping are both available.
Do you offer framing?

I don’t offer framing at the moment, but I’m happy to recommend framing options or give advice on how to best display your portrait once it arrives!
Can I commission something unique or customised?

Definitely! If you have a special idea, from a concept portrait to a piece with multiple elements added in, I’d love to hear it. Just send a message and we can work out the details together.
Do you offer pet portraits or couples/family portraits?

Yes, I draw individual portraits as well as group pieces including pets, couples, families, or friends. Just let me know what you're looking for and I’ll confirm pricing based on your request!
What reference photo should I send?

High-quality, well-lit photos where the subject’s features are clearly visible work best. If you’re unsure, feel free to send a few options and I’ll help you choose the most suitable one!
Will I receive a digital version of the portrait too?

While I don’t offer digital-only portraits, I can provide a digital scan of your hand-drawn piece upon request, perfect for sharing online or printing a backup copy.
